Our concept of the holster varies from most other makers. While we offer a large number of period correct gun leather, we also understand the need to build all of our rigs to suit the ergonomic requirements of today's shooters. Our specialty lies in providing the correct rake and drop and in tailoring "ease of draw" to your specific activity or wishes. In short, the shooter is not limited either functionally or aesthetically and we have no problem with you taking the details from one or more holsters and applying them to another. Transitional HolsterAntique Brown Half Flap. This is a civilian version of the transitional holsters adapted by the military in going from the full-flapped holster to the open top. It has an elegantly-tapered pouch and a toe plug. This holster is also an excellent choice for hunters. It gives excellent protection to the weapon, superior retention yet easy access without the tattle-tale, prey-frightening snap of conventional retaining systems. Chain & 4-Point Star border Wild Bunch HolsterLight Mahogany Wild Bunch. This style of holster became popular after the introduction of the Colt 1911. It was often configured with a 15 degree back rake (muzzle back, grips forward) for carry by law enforcement personnel. This one is shown “straight up”. Beehive and Double Ram’s Curl Border |
